Biker Networking Breakfast

The Norfolk Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Biker Networking Breakfast. Whether you're a biker yourself or aspire to become one, this is the event for you. Meeting at the Caistor Hall Hotel, bikers from around the area will be meeting from 9.00am on Friday 10 May for breakfast and talks from the following speakers:

  • Barry Clarke, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, has been riding motorbikes for 25 years, in the fire service for 25 years, and now is the lead instructor for Advanced Emergency Care, Swift Water, and Flood rescue. He will be presenting on Bikerdown, a free 3 hour training session covering scene management, basic first aid, and the art of being seen. 
  • Andy Micklethwaite, Norfolk County Council, a former Norfolk constabulary motorcyclist and instructor he created the Safe Rider scheme which is now in its 21st year. He owns a quirky collection of bikes and will be presenting on motorcycle course options to improve your riding.
  • Iain Temperton, Norfolk County Council, an experienced road safety trainer and enthusiastic motorcyclist he will be presenting on occupational road risk liabilities for employers whose staff use motorbikes in their daily work and signposting delegates to policy writing services. 

After the breakfast and talks there will be a rideout (communicated 48 hours before the breakfast event) and Lind Motorrad are on the route. We'll be providing doughnuts and coffee for all. So sign up to this great event and we'll see you then!
